"Same Difference: exploring perceptions and assumptions of identity" was an exhibition of work at South Square, Thornton, Bradford in July/August 2010

The exhibition was the outcome of journeys made at the end of last year in Israel and the Palestinian territories: where a single historical narrative gives rise to a host of clichés, conflicting perceptions and realities. Within this narrative, a group of anonymous subjects, once decontexualised, prompt a rethinking of assumptions about identity.
Israeli, Palestinian, Christian, Jew or Muslim? Nothing is as may seem at first sight.
