Some days I stop at a point which surprises me. I was playing with the Artrage app tools and using random variants and reached the stage I like most where I am no longer aware of the subject and the marks become an end in themselves. Finishing a figuratively based subject in an entirely abstract frame of mind is interesting. The unexpected blue and gritty marks on the face stayed because I became intrigued by the way my face looked almost bandaged. I had meant to work them in, started to do so, but pressed the back button immediately. Maybe because they echoed the hard blue marks in the background. Whatever!
